One of the first tin toys was manufactured in 1988. The old timer is now being made in India using the original tooling!
The motor is activated by pressing the side lever down, the car races off quite quickly and the mechanism is almost unbreakable and there is no key to lose.
Every tin toy starts out as a flat sheet of metal that is printed and then cut into separate pieces. Each piece is then formed into it’s final shape through numerous tooling stations. The pieces are then hand assembled to create the final toy. So, minor marks and paint flaws can occur. All tin toys are produced in the same style as they were in the 1950’s and 60’s.
