The blue Gearing robot has some colourful lithographed gear design on his chest, with red hands and legs.
He wears red headphones. The robot has large feet, Wind him up and he walks with pins under his foot platform enabling him to sway side to side as he moves forward.
Every tin toy starts out as a flat sheet of metal that is printed and then cut into separate pieces. Each piece is then formed into its final shape through numerous tooling stations. The pieces are then hand-assembled to create the final toy. So, minor marks and paint flaws can occur.
All tin toys are produced in the same style as they were in the 1950s and ’60s.
