The red and silver laser robot from saint john's has some colourful lithographed designs on his body. Robot has large feet, Wind him up and he walks with movable arms enabling him to sway side to side as he moves forward.
Every tin toy starts out as a flat sheet of metal that is printed and then cut into separate pieces. Each piece is then formed into it’s final shape through numerous tooling stations. The pieces are then hand assembled to create the final toy. So, minor marks and paint flaws can occur. All tin toys are produced in the same style as they were in the 1950’s and 60’s.
